I usually have several stock PP's that I have had PC'd black.  I'm out at the moment, but either paint or powder is the way to go.

I tried having a paid of headlight mounting "ears" anodized......and it came out looking like smoke. Embarrassed

Thanks He Man, I'd love to see some pics.  If anyone else has pics of their painted stock pressure plate, I'd love to see those as well.

Sorry no pics, I can't get 'em to work.

We used VHT drivetrain and engine enamel, good for 550 F. The rattle can paint that is chemical resistant to oil, etc.

My mate used the gold color on his Superlight which matched his gold forks and gold anodized titanium and alloy bolts (bling). I used the bright red, to pick up my red ignition leads and tank. That's the beauty of it as there are so many colors.

The paint looks better and seems to 'settle' after it's been on the bike for awhile, the heat from the clutch really bakes it on!

Just clean that plate well beforehand or you'll be wiping it off to start again as the paint bubbles on that unseen grime you missed! Ducpainter might suggest a good pre paint/prepwash product (mine was real clean after the thinners I used to clean off the first attempt)!

Be great to see your color choice.

Cheers drink

Gotta second (third, forth, ??) the painting. A good cleaning and several thin coats of paint is what I used...
Yes, some brake cleaner to get the grease & dust off, try to keep it off the bearing, then mask the bearing & spray!

CCEMN1,
Is that a stock clutch cover you had modified?  It looks like you have a lexan "window" or something on the cover, cool.........

Mirrors are Rizoma Circuit 998, yes, those are Sato rearsets. The front wheel is another story. The rotors don't fit and I wasn't able to sort out what offset I would need (they would either have to be custom offset or changes out the brakes...)

i had a chance to pick up those wheels front and back off a Hyper for $100. The guy had someone pick it up when i was ready to leave and said sorry. if you physically had the wheel im sure you could measure it out.

$100?  That would be a sweet deal.  I would love those on my S2R, the back wheel is the exact same dimensions isn't it?

Mine came off an S4RS. I paid quite a bit more than 100. Tires and front rotors came with it though. I'll find a solution...

It's a German made cover I picked up on eBay for $70 bucks, I can't remember the name? And yes, that is a lexan window. I liked being able to see the clutch, but wanted to keep the "noise" to a minimum.
OK, go ahead & flame me!
