Call a local food bank, there are plenty.  See what they need the most and go spend $5-10 and help feed someone.

Most of the food needed is basic staples and stuff that can keep.  Canned stuff  etc.

If you don't have kids, you don't know how expensive baby formula can be.  If a place takes that, then spend the 15-20$ and drop off a can.  The Target brand is a good option to get it cheaper and it's high quality.

Things are rough all over.

and also be more efficient with the food we already eat.  I have always been part of the "clean plate" club.

well, also make sure you use smaller portions.

most of the "clean plate club" members I know are also part of the "fat ass club"
