Rear Sprocket Questions

Ok...I need to replace my rear sprocket but i don't want my butt ripped open for $180.00 freakin bucks.  Sooooooooooo I am in the market for one of those nifty aftermarket 2 piece jobbies where you can replace just the sprocket. I know there are several companies that make them but just wondering about personal experience with or another.  Thanks much!!!

you can find used stock rear sprockets for cheap. thats the route id go...

Motowheels has a good selection of the AFAM 2pc sprockets and carriers, but it looks like you initial buy in for the sprocket/carrier set is gonna be over $180.  Jeff @ monsterparts.com has the Driven Systems steel ($39) and aluminum ($59) replacements rear sprockets.  I don't know much about the Driven rear sprockets, but their front sprockets work just fine. 
I have been running the Supersprox rear sprocket on my bike and love it.  For a SS swingarm, the are in the ass ripped open category, but they look cool as shit.

I just did the quick change on my monster going from 525 and 15/42 teeth to 520 and 15/44 teeth.  I can send pics if you wish....got my parts for $299 shipped to the door, everything included - chain, link, front sprocket, rear sprocket, carrier, all bolts.  I love how it looks as well as how it has changed the bikes performance.

I do have my stock 525 sprockets for sale cheap if you are interested.....

JT makes an quickchange for $100, and is recommended by Ca-Cycle not to mention the sprockets are all under forty bucks.

Or find a Parts-Unlimited dealer, they also carry it.

Well, that's interesting....because that's a picture of the whole set up, brand new, never run, just finshed installation.   

What you are seeing is a blury pic combined with the white grease that came on the chain.  Optical illusion....it's a brand new sprocket.  I've put 400 miles on the bike since and the teeth still look brand new.
