Bad TPS? How to tell?

Anyone know how to tell if a tps is bad? When I set the base at 150mv and set the RH throttle body at the required 2.7 degrees the end mv is at 371mv. If I set the mv to 434 the throttle degrees shoot up to 3.2-3.3.

Is my tps bad?

Thanks, I understand all that. The problem that I am having is at the required throttle set degree (2.7) the voltage is way off (is showing 370mv when it should be at 434mv) which is effecting how much gas is spraying at any position the throttle is turned.

It just went kaput today. The bike is going to the dealer on Tuesday to get replaced under my extended warranty.
