many years ago when I was running with a different crew,my HD Shovelhead was running 30 in long 2 inch diameter drag pipes.No crossovers, just 2 straight pies, very effing loud. I put two huge jets( one low speed circuit and one main) in the carb and never had any issues other than it was a Harley  [laugh]
