Sorry about all my ignorance, but I'm a first time Duc owner & everything Desmo is foreign to me!
Can anyone tell me the proper replacement NGK Iridium IX Spark Plug for a 2007 S4RS Monster?
I've had great performance from these plugs in my other bikes.
Thanks!

Thanks once again Hypurone! You're getting to be my Duc Guru!

Be careful on this one!  Your owners manual and the shop manual give the wrong size!  The listed plugs are 12mm thread with a 3/4" reach.  Your bike has 10mm thread with a 3/4" reach.

I don't know the NGK number but the Denso Irididium is IU27.

Seeing as how I own the same bike and have these installed and have been running them for 12000 miles, I think he can take my word on it.  [thumbsup]

Thanks for the props but, I'm def not a Duc guru, only an S4RS guru. And that is only because I've been there done that with most everything on my bike!!  ;D

I've got the NGKs too and I made that mistake of getting the wrong plugs the first go because of the misprint/bad info.  It is a pain to get to the plugs so I left it out of service until the right plugs arrived.

Not knockin' the advice.  Just pointing out the manuals give the wrong size.  Like Bill I bought a set of plugs per the manual only to find they didn't fit.  I'll write the CR9EIX in my manual for future options - Thanks.

Cool. Guess I could have worded it initially that I am running these plugs....

One note now that I am thinking about it. It seems for awhile that NGK made the plug in 2 variants. One with the removable tip (so you ended up with the threaded end) and one without. Though I doubt this far down the road the latter are still out there but I guess you never really know...
