Hey all,

Just wondering if anyone out there has taken it upon themselves to apply header wrap on an M696. I've installed it on my KTM 505 SX-F and really dig the nostalgia/badass look of it. The stuff I use is a black wrap and a thick application of silicone paint that is made specifically for header wrap (see pic below)

Also wondering if anyone has anodized or powdercoated their foot peg brackets on their M696. My bike is the matte black model and I'm thinking of either powdercoating the bracket matte black to match the sub frame or silver/grey to match the engine cases.

Any suggestions or pics of your similar mods would be greatly appreciated chug

Often wrong. Never in doubt.

You're right.  Its not called a rear set.  Although there are many who fail to recognise the distinction.
