Really need a red seat cowl for my '07 S4RS! Anybody got any suggestions besides paying the fortune to Ducati? I've been all over eBay & the 2 Duc sites I'm aware of?

Wow, thanks! I'll see if I can get the winning bid & a stripe kit from Ducati.
Thanks again, CC

I just ordered and received the unpainted cowl below.  Item looks very well made.  Sticker says "Made In Europe", which probably means one of the eastern euro companies.  If you are in any way familiar with the airplane model market, then you will know that they produce some excellent FRP and CF products.  Finish is white gel coat and I plan to paint it myself.  $85 with shipping.  I ordered the brackets and screws from Monsterparts.

I should have posted last night after fitting the parts up to the seat.  The Italmoto part isn't an "exact" fit...though I got it to fit the seat with the brackets "as is", I will need to make some adjustments.  First off, the threaded insert spacing on one side is a little off so that bracket will need the slots opened up.  The angle at which the screws enter the inserts is not perpendicular to the bracket...I might use rubber grommets or washers to take up some of the sloppiness, or try to bend the brackets slightly.  I think it will eventually work, but it's not a "drop fit" and you will have to fiddle with it a bit.

I'm pretty sure I've still got the one I took off my red 01 S4.
If your still looking for one let me know and I'll check out the condition, should be perfect as I removed it that 1st year and fitted a new Sargent seat.

Still looking for a red seat cowl & would be willing to trade a carbon fiber nose cowl & windshield, Ducati part # 96921700B even up, if anyone has any available!
