I am taking off the termi's during the week, i'm assuming i can just remove the ECU that they tuned with the pipes and slap on the stock one yeah?

I don't have any manuals so can anyone point me in the direction of where/how i swap over the ECU?

Lastly, anyone want to buy the slipons and how much is a fair price?

The ECU is under the tank on the left side of the battery.
I know very well where it is at the moment.
You'll need a 5mm alen key to undo it and then just open the tabs that hold it in place.

So what ECU is in there now if you have a stock one that you are putting back in?

Thanks Matty.

The Termi kit i bought came with the air filter and race ECU. At least that's what they told me.

So i figure when i remove the pipes i'll replace the ECU with the stock one.

Does that sound right to you?

Yep that's correct, as long as the Race ECU has not been red keyed you can re-sell it.
But if you are taking it off can I borrow you and it to see if my bikes runs on it as I am having ECU's
troubles of my own at the moment and this could help me diagnose if either of my ECU's are rooted.

Yeah no probs.

The stock stuff should arrive before the weekend. Come over, help me swap the things over and you can borrow the ECU. Just note i'm selling the Termi's so i can lend it to long as i want to sell them in a couple of weeks.

Thanks.
I tried my DP ECU in Dannog's bike today and guess what it fired up!
So I now know it is not and ECU problem it's either immobilizer or it's something in the wiring loom.

I can come and help you swap things out it's a very easy job but I can't bring my bike cause as you
see it doesn't run at the moment.

Actually swap wheels.... i love your gold rims!

If you need to borrow anything just let me know, happy to help out.

I'll do my exhaust on the weekend. Can't be any harder than when i changed the CBR1000 exhaust. That was quite a task for my mechanically retarded brain Tongue

I'm keen to see if i get my fuel economy back. 10L/100km in peak hour is killing me although i was getting 6.5L/100km on my Oberon ride so it's not too bad. Mind you the CBR only just managed to hit 5L/100km!  Shocked
