I just received my ducati corsa slipper from Italy. very nice! I was wondering which clutchpack I should purchase for it. (my OEM ones are worn out). part number is: 968317AAB

Should I go with Ducati (part no: 964060AAA) or look to use Barnets or Surflex? Is there anything particular about the fit for the Ducati Corsa Slipper clutch pack that would mean that I'd have to stick with the Ducati plates?

Oh, here's a pick of the clutch!

Nice work.
I know Dock has just had one fitted to his new track bike but I'm pretty sure he used the brand new plates.
All I know is when I had my TSS fitted I was told that once my stock plates were done I should fit sinttered plates.

have the same one and fitted with slipper clutch specific plates from STP.

even with the recommened stack height the clutch works okay. I think these were designed to work with stock clutch packs to be honest. Im waiting for the STP pack to wear and fail before i install an OEM pack though. those plates are NOT cheap.

When i say I, i mean I installed it onto a friends 749s and ride it around sometimes.

Thats He Man, you not wrong about the OEM sinter plates. The local Ducati dealer want me to drop off my first born son!

The plates will end up costing me half the price I paid for the clutch hence why I was looking for 3rd party options

ECS, a shop near me sells em for $230 or 270 i cant remember.

You can also pick up gently used packs on ebay for cheap.

However i will admit i do not know if i am doing it wrong, the instructions say that XX mm is the right stack height so i get close to that, on or off, and it doenst work that well. So again, i think OEM plates are the way to go.
