Question on 2007 S4R and S2R forks

Since I'm in the market to replace Springs or drop a Cartridge kit into my S2R forks I'm looking at all brands now.

Are the S4R forks the same as the S2R forks? Reason I ask is because I saw a Cartridge kit from Racetech that fits the S4R and was wondering if they would work on my S2.

I would reckon that they are a bit stiffer as the s4r motor is heavier than the 2v motor, but prob. would work.  I am basing this on absolutely nothing BTW.

Why not just give 'em a call and ask?

If I'm not mistaken,...different valves, different spring, and of course the slider coating...

"I" don't know if the parts are compatible though...

i think you are correct though, springs in the S4R are slightly heavier.

S4R uses Showas...

Pretty sure the S2R uses Marzocchis.
