I want to tidy up the brake and electrical lines when I reinstall the u-bracket with lowered gauges.  This would be easier if I could unplug the gauges, but I'm worried about the immobilizer making life difficult when I plug them back in.

What happens you unplug the gauges?

When you plug the gauges back in they make some noises and then the immobilizer light starts blinking.  Other than that....nuttin'.

Like Duck-Stew said, nothing happens to the gauges or bike when you unplug the gauges for a while.

just be careful when plugging it back in, or you might bend a pin (I'm speaking from experience).

If chuck norris does show up, tell him you already bought a Total Gym and send him on his way.

So if I wanted to remove my gauge when I'm on the track, would it work fine without them?

To the OP's question, in addition to the above responses, you *will* need to reset your clock.

I believe you mean step out of his way.  No one "sends" chuck norris anywhere.

If you're Chuck Norris they will.

Additionally, while urinating, Chuck Norris is capable of welding titanium.
