What would happen if...

So, I was reading all the threads and info on the web about coring my cans.   However, seen a bunch of posts how the 2000 M750 (my Duc) has different cans that aren't easily cored?  Something different about the internals?

Anyways, poking around on Youtube I found an M750 with straight pipes.  Now, I'm wondering, if I just took my cans off would my Duc sound like this?  Also, besides getting to know my friendly    , what other 'side effects' would there be of just dropping the cans?

Hmm, I dunno that I actually would...but I gotta take my rearsets off to clean them up and hit them with some paint.  The one in the video sounds great, but if it's 120+dB going down the road, I don't think I would do it.  I'm guessing you lose some top end too?
