I ended up getting the full Termi system for my S4Rs last year. Came with the DP ECU, open air box and filter. Overall the system is great...lots of power, quality is top notch, sounds and runs like a dream. I ended up with the Temi system because I got a great deal, but I've never been a fan of how they look. I'm thinking about switching to the Zard 2-2...anyone have any experience with the Zards? Hows the quality, fitment, etc? What's a used Termi system worth (minus the DP ECU, airbox, and filter)?

Local Ducati Club friend here in Norway recently bought a full system from a DMF'er. I think it was Zard. It had a few minor scuffs on it. About $900 without ECU (IIRC) and it had been for sale quite a while.

I guess that's about what you can expect/hope to get - if it sells at all.
If you have to sell to afford Zards - sell first?

No FHE with Zards, but what I keep hearing is all good. Sound, fitment and quality.
Some will even say better. IMO they look GREAT.

the welds and the looks are better on those pipes IMO. I have the high-mount Termis and if someone would trade me outright I would jump on those.

One of the Ozmonsters guys had/has it on his bike.
I say had cause he has just had to sell cause of a move OS.

They are a great looking and sounding set of pipes, I agree they are much much better than Termi's.

Have a look at my flickr and you'll find a Titanium S4R.

I have the zards on my s4rs. The quality is amazing. Fit and finish is as good or better then the termi's (as a side note, some termi's look like they are a bit crooked.. iMO..). Sound is awesome too. My only minor complaint is that I'm getting a bit of popping on decel and it seems to ride a bit rough down low. I bought the s4rs with the zards on them so i have no FHE with the stock pipe.. so I'm not sure if the aforementioned issues are with s4rs' generally or the zards. I'm still running the stock ecu though. I've read other reviews of people with zards that have tuned their bikes and they run amazing. Have to look into that this season... overall, i love them.
