I plan to take my 696 to the track a handful of times this year along with general buzzing around.  The Diablo Rosso tires look like they would work for this.  Anyone using these?  I know they are new.

I use them on the street. No complaints here really. They're a good compromise between stickiness and longevity. I like them better then any of the Michelins I've ever run. They heat up quickly and stick well in both dry and wet conditions.

As for durability, I got about 5k out of the rear and 7k on on the front. I will most likely buy them again.

If I was running track days I would probably pick up a set of Corsa IIIs though.

+1 on just sticking with the Rossos.. especially if you'll be riding at anything other than the race group pace..

they'll be fine. and better than any track only tires if it's wet.

just keep an eye on the pressures if the track gets real hot.
