this thread had me thinking, er, remembering that day, too...

i had a very vicious bicycle jumping incident early that morning that resulted in a 20ft+ slide on asphalt (right after i'd taken off my shirt). i remember watching the whole thing on tv in considerable pain.

on the plus side, it did give me some pretty cool looking scars.  ;D

Hated the original, have no interest in the remake.
Haiti was a pit before, and will continue to be a pit no matter how much money gets thrown into it.
And yes, I've been there.
Did like the remake of REM's "Everybody hurts" tho.
