Sunny and 70 degrees today in CT!  I can't wait for 5:30 since I rode to work today.

I figured it was a good day to post some photos from my lever install from a couple of weeks ago and ask a question or two.

My questions are, is there a torque setting for the pin nut that hold the lever on? One of the manuals just says tighten and test. The second question I have is, I set the free play to be the same as the stock levers but now I'm worried that the clutch is engaging to close to the lever being fully let out. I will have to check the manual again but if there is someone that can give me some feedback I'll feel better really getting on the gas on my way home tonight:)

Hope everyone gets out on two wheels this weekend.

I dont really torque stuff down that are very light. Tight enough is usually how i go by most things on the bike.  You can add some locktight to keep it from working loose if you want.

As far as the clutch engaging too far out.  its just how your lever is adjusted thats all. Push it more out and it engages further out, the closer the lever is to the grips, the closer the engagement is, this is provided you didnt touch the fluids at all.

If you need the action to be closer to the bar, adjust the "freeplay" further out. ONLY on the clutch though.

Not much torque needed - this is a very special nut, it is made of an elastic metal plate that secures it in place even at very modest torque.

Thanks for the feedback everyone. I adjusted the clutch lever a little bit but I think it was fine. I'm liking the new levers a lot and now I'll have to figure out what my next mod is going to be.

I think I might need a chain and sprockets first. 11k with some visible wear how much longer can I push it?

Anyone have any recommendations for what chain and sprockets to get?
