I'm looking for  good HID light kit. I plan to have the back replaced with the CF back, think I saw on the Monsterparts site that it will not work with HID kit. I also will be adding a wire rock guard similar to whats available on Austin Healey's etc.
 Wonder if something like this would work:

If it would fit in the stock housing with some fabricating.

aftermarket douchebag kits, though bright as hell, dont shine in particular spot. A single lamp will fit inside your current housing no problem. However some of them have a longer base and wont fit.

Theres not much room to work with inside the headlight either. You cant mod the reflector so you only have the rear cover to work with.

I fitted a HID projector into my stock housing.  Has the proper cutoff and the beam pattern/light is excellent. 

There is a thread with it around here somewhere......
