Ducati Performance carbon fiber tank pad question

So I picked up a Ducati Performance carbon fiber tank pad and have a question...

Has anyone else that has these pads noticed the Ducati Monster emblem has dark spots on/in the silver writing??

All three that my dealer had in stock had the same blemishes...just wondering if he got a bad batch and I should return this one and wait for a new batch. If it's a normal condition I'll just install it....

hadn't noticed it on the one I got.

but if it's minor, I'd slap it on the bike and not worry about it... the paddy bit will haze over and start to peel eventually, and you won't care anymore
