If this bike was perfectly restored, it might be worth what he's asking for it.  I think the condition could properly be described as "asstastic"

Did you see his other Ducati for sale on ebay?  [laugh]  He has an interesting understanding of how to make things sell.
Confused rider who doesn't know what he is even riding at the moment. (2012 URAL GearUp, 2012 Ninja 250 Racer, 1969 CB175 Racer)

He's obviously asking too much money, but it's nice to see someone actually pointing out faults with the item they're selling.  I've seen plenty of "9 out of 10" cars and bikes on Ebay that in reality are basket cases that have been tarted up for the photos...

That RT he has for sale is pretty nice...overpriced but nice.

Yea, I've got a Gold and Black 900SS bought new in 1979 that's worth $4,000 that I could put $8,000 into and it and it would be worth $10,000.

Don't know what kind of dope that guy is on, but it must be better than the shit I'm getting.

For that money I could buy the MH900E that's on there
Every bike I've ever owned.

Yep. Even if it was in pristine condition it wouldn't be worth near that money.
No modification goes unpunished. Memento mori.  Good people drink good beer.  Things happen pretty fast at high speeds.

It's all up to your will level, your thrill level and your skill level.  Everything else is just fluff.
