I Ride: a 2005 S2R 800 (sold)

« on: March 13, 2010, 01:19:37 AM »

Hey guys, I'm planning a 6 day, 3770 mile trip across the western half of the us and my fourth stop is probably going to be somewhere near Denver.  I am going to be stopping there on may 13th and was wondering if one of my fellow DMFers would let me stay with them.  I promise I will be quiet  Grin  I'm just a regular broke college student looking for a long ride to clear my mind.  I don't expect anyone to say yes but I thought I might as well ask.  Have a good weekend and ride safe waytogo

here is my ride plan so far http://www.mapquest.com/mq/8-6kgIgsNfcS4S3AHxwiqJ

Randimus and I have room as long as you cam tolerate a bouncy boxer and a geriatric feline.     waytogo

you the boxer or is Randimus?   Cool

I too will open my doors and garage for anyone.

BTW, I would reconsider your route through CO...  I25 from WY and I70 to Utah are straight highway  Lips Sealed

We have some stunning twisties that would take you through the same area with much more fun [moto] waytogo

Fair question.  I've only seen the Randimus bouncy when bathrooms have been few & the 'tank' is full - as is the case as I type this.  So the answer would be Brian wins the bouncy title and I'm a close second.

True that on the stunning twisties! Change your route if you can Mac!

Thank you so much for the offers Smiley  I was just making a shot in the dark and wasn't expecting anyone to respond.  Have any sugestions of a different way to go?  I have a 6 day limit and It is not set in stone yet, I was just planning on trying to keep the lengths less than 14 hrs [moto]

Suggestions on routes are going to depend on what your waypoints need to be. What are your goals, and what kind of locations do you absolutely HAVE to be at (ie, visiting Aunt Mildred in Pheonix)? Taking other roads than I-25/I-70 will certainly lengthen your trip, but will be worth it as far as fun and scenery goes.
