Private messaging is messed up

Hello all, I constantly have three messages showing in my inbox however both my inbox folder and send I don't folders are empty. Can anyone let me know how to fix this and what's going on?

Not sure what's going on, but...

most issues can be remedied by logging out, clearing cookies...and I mean all the DMF cookies in your browser including any saved passwords, then logging back in.

I tried that no luck. I have had this issue from about four different computers that I login with your needs are surely been like this for about a year now I just never bothered with it but today finally it's kind of rubbed me the wrong way so I decided to ask about it

I'd suggest uninstalling, and reinstalling the tapatalk app.

I suspect that's where your issue lies. We've seen some wonkiness with that app and our forum before when there have been updates...or not. The forum software works fine wrt unread messages on both my phone, without that app, and my laptop.

I've had no problems with PMs on any device.  Can't say about tapatalk, don't use it.
