Johnny is having some PC issues... here are the words from his mouth...

"Oh, by the way, yeah, I had a little falling down episode on the Monster. In addition to general dumb-shittedness by the rider, some cold tires, cold asphalt, being in a hurry, and over generous throttle while leaned over were key factors. The rear end washed out, a high-side was looming, I put my down my right foot ala dirt bike style only to have my foot run over by the back tire. The tire RPM's were sufficient to burn a quarter size hole through the Sidi boot leather at the instep. It also was sufficient to suck me off the bike. I believe this also had the effect of "righting" the bike, preventing the imminent high side. The speedymoto sliders did a great job in preventing a lot of damage when the bike fell over and skittered down the road. I am surprised at how rinky-dink, mostly cosmetic, the damage is to the bike. Me? I got a little asphalt loofa in a few spots here and there.

I had my foot X-rayed at Kaiser. Just a honking sprain, no breaks anywhere, thankfully.

So, that's the scoop. No hypocrisy intended: Let's be careful out there shall we? ATGATT. I cashed in a shit load of karma chips and got off (somewhat) lucky."

Take care peeps.
