How does it seal compared to stock?

The locking mechanism shuts it tight - how does that work with these caps?

The SSR ones screw shut and there is a gasket on the cap. No issues as far as closing go.

Mine (SSR - Multistrada) did have a problem with letting the fuel tank vent...as in it didn't. The cap covered the breather hole when fully shot. A little bit of dremel work (which can't be seen when the cap is on) and the problem was fixed.

It may not be necessary on the Monster ones. I know the Multistrada and Sport Classic ones need it though. Not a big deal IMO, considering the reasonable prices SSR charges.

to understand ... all prices on our webside include 19% German Taxes !

Outside europe you don't have to pay ... means  109 â,¬ / 1.19 = 91.60 â,¬  ( today about 123 USD )
