Position edits?

I see some funny lead-ins for peoples' position notation in their posts. How do you make those edits?
What do I type here again?

Thanks, but that edits the text in the bottom of my posts. I'm looking for the text people add before the "new member" etc. notations.
What do I type here again?

Go to that page in your profile and look where I put the text.

You put it in 'personal' text.

Remove what you don't want. ;)
