'99 M750 Gauges

Hate to beat a dead horse but I didn't see anything on this with actual answers.

I have a '99 M750 and I was wondering sense my bike doesn't have a tach is it possible to get the newer M750 gauge cluster and what will I need to do to get my RPMs reading on the gauge?

the tacho on the carb bikes runs off the signal from one of the ignition control boxes to the coil.  you'll have to run an additional wire, but a later 750 dash or carb mdoel 900 dash will work fine.

The dash you're after is a one year only part.  2001 M600 & M750's had carbs and tachs as factory equipment.

As Duck-Stew said, the gauges only from the 2001 M600 & 750's will work.  I went thru this exact same problem, but I lucked out and scored a sweet DP Performance gauge cluster with tach.
