save yourself the money and dont buy an ebay kit. they suck. and it might burn out.

if you must have one, go to a place that sells them locally and offers a warranty so you can go up to them. if these ever break they will just ignore your emails.

theres a few online stores taht are legit though. but ud have to ask around.

Jesus man-stop typing like you're in third grade-you're studying to be an engineer-act like it.

"It might burn out" is the lamest reason ever-any bulb "might burn out" and in fact, all of them most likely will burn out. Blah.
If the state had not cut funding for the mental institutions, this project could never have happened.

Bones

stay away from ebay fly-by-nights and go with a trusted seller such as DDM tuning.  http://www.ddmtuning.com/

many people here have had good experiences with them, including myself.

there are probably a few other trusted sellers and I would advise you use the search function.

WOW, that is kinda harsh. Being a Toolmaker, I will say that most engineers really dont have a clue on the real world. So, give the guy a little slack.

I may type like a 3rd grade, but you must be reading at a 3rd grade level.

When did i ever say BULBS BURN OUT?  ;D

want me to ship my "burnt part" to you? You'd open the box and find that all there is a ballast. The ballast is the high tech but low quality part that burns out. Any make the beast with two backsing retard knows bulbs burn out.

PS ANYONE IS WELCOME TO TWO FREE XENON BULBS THAT MIGHT BURN OUT! IN FACT YOU CAN HAVE THE CONTROLLER FOR FREE TOO BUT YOU'D  BE GETTING TWO BURNT OUT BALLASTS!

/ballast is the part that makes the voltage high enough to EXCITE the Xenon
// Xenon is a gas that emits high energy light when excited
///sac does this
////ballast should last the life of the bike, they eventually die, but after tens of thousands of hours.

hey bones i saw the hid kit in your bike before, the price is right on DDM, how long was the bulb? I want high low without cutting the shell.

Bones

i didn't measure but I had to cut the back of bucket to clear the back of the bulb. apparently not every bucket has to be cut (depends on the yer, but I don't know what years). What I ended up doing was filling the hole in the back of the bucket with jb weld (using my own patented method).  the whole thing is strong and waterproof and you can't even tell what I did after I painted over it.

nice, from the pics it looks like their bixenon kit will fit. and if it doesnt it looks like the only reason it wouldnt would be the wire harness, which can easily be modified with a soldering iron and some snips.

but they have a sick price on xenon kits right now.

besides i have the steel bucket. i have a MIG, and access to TIG, and powdercoating. you wouldnt even know there was a hole in it!  [evil]

i just dont want the damn ballast to burn out, i killed 4 of them already. :/
