Hi All,

I was flushing out my cooling system last night and found that there is some rust in it.  The bottom of my overflow reservoir has a little sludge on the bottom and when I drained the coolant, there was rusty specs coming out.  The coolant was mostly green, but it had some orange in it.

Anybody run into this?  Is this a major issue?

Looking to see what I need to do.

Thanks!

I would just flush it with clean water till you get all the poo out and then refill it with coolant.

Hmm, easy enough.

I just wanted to be sure there's nothing brewing inside the coolant system.

Thanks man.

I'll have to second the poo flushing.  You'll be fine.

If you decide to run water wetter and water, don't forget that WW will still allow the mix to freeze. ..
