Long run on saturday almost 300 miles not that i would know cos my speedo cable broke.
Not usually a problem cos i dont look at it much but we were up in the mountains and the traffic cops were out in force. Because it was the  last weekend onf the ski season in Glenshee (scotland)
Anyways i gets home about 9pm on saturday and looks up ducati monster speedo cable on Ebay.

Jeezuz thinks me those is expensive and used. About £25

So today i phone the dealer and a Brand new one was £20 including overnight shipping.

So the moral of this story is check with the dealer first you may get a pleasant surprise.

I usually check with my local dealership for most parts and will try and support them when I can.  Usually they are always more expensive that online retailers.

Glad it worked out for you.  waytogo
