No not about bathing suit detection

My 02 has the sensor on the rear caliper mounting plate.

Not knowing how it triggers (magnetic I assume) the question is....will it still work if I change out the rotor bolts to titanium ones?
Thanks

Does your rotor have 4 magnets (about the size of a tack head) in it?

Howie

It is a Hall effect sensor.  I have no idea if the titanium bolts will trigger it.

Speeddog

Several folks have verified that stainless bolts won't trigger it.

IMO, Ti would suffer the same defeat.

+1 IMO but no FHE.

No magnets on the rotor that I can see....maybe keep one regular bolt and change the rest to Ti and I can just multiply whatever the speedo says to get my actual

I'm running into this problem currently with titanium rotor bolts. I have no idea if I'm setting a landspeed record or not.

LOL Dude if you have magneti marelli gauges it is still a swag on whether you're a land-speed hero or you're blocking traffic

My gauges haven't worked since I got the bike and I'm wondering if I even need them? So far the best advice is follow the common speed in traffic and go balls out in the straightaways!
