okay bought a used full termi kit from a friend. Took it to the dealer to get installed they told me that the 02 sensor wiring with the stock bike isn't long enough so they said we can leave them out or we can get an extension wire and keep them. if we leave them out that have to put some kind of cap on the wiring which they said will take two weeks to get. I asked what is best and he said keep the 02 sensors out bc it will run richer and better without them. I just wanted to get an opinion on what would be best. thanks.

When you bought the full termi system how come it didnt come with the accompanying wiring looms to correctly connect the lambdas?

yeah something doesn't sound right about this install. you can't just cap a o2 sensor wiring from what i read, cause the computer will read an error. I'm sure there would have to be some kind system like the fatduc that would allow you to adjust the signal the computer reads. and i'm surprise that the system had the bungs for the sensors and if it does, why they don't match up with the stock locations. and if they don't why the kit didn't have the appropriate wiring.
this is all of course if the ECU for the full system even is looking for the O2 sensors.

hey ungeheuer... guess you got another purchase to make to compare ;)   oh and sorry about the 2into2 wait. the guys at the shop move slower than italians :(

Yea', I got tired of waiting on you (I offered to buy your 696 midpipe in the thread ungeheuer started and you replied you were working on he 2 into 2) so I bought a 696 pipe off fleabay.  Just got my DUC.EE in today, pipe should be here first part of next week.  Oh, and thank you ungeheuer for doing the experimental fitting and letting us know the 696 pipe fits.

Quite alright, I understand; I run my own business (not motorcycle related).  Please let me know when you get the 2 in 2 pipes made up; I still might be interested.
