My oil cooler connector pipes keep rusting on me.  Thinking of chroming them.  Anyone know if they are made of stainless steel or not?  From my understanding you can't chrome stainless.  Anyways if they are I might just get them powder or ceramic coated.  Any suggestions?

You're talking about the lines?

??? Well, no, not the braided stainless but the solid skinny fittings at the end.  I don't think i can separate the fittings from the lines for coating so might have to coat the lines along w/ the fittings.

Why not just get some aftermarket lines? They'll be slightly lighter, look better, and won't corrode. You can even make your own from the Jegs catalog.

I've been wanting to do this, but when ever I'm at my local hotrod shop, they are no help.

I'd like to just buy on line, but of course, I need to know what i need.

Does anyone know what fittings are needed to complete the line?

Are the stock oil line nipples reused?

search on here - there's a thread about replacing oil cooler lines. I think its an M10 or M14 to an-6 or something similar fitting (x2) on the engine case, likewise for the oil cooler, and then you get similar fittings and lines to make your own lines.

I got some of my stuff from Jegs and some of the stuff from RyanRacer's site, BallerBolts.

Looked on both sites...with no luck, and I guess my main problem is finding the metric to AN fittings that connects to the motor/cooler!?!?

Can the fittings at the end be separated from the lines?  I guess the answer is no to that.   Frentubo makes some nice lines w/ black fittings but a bit pricy.

PJ's Parts.

If you want the stock routing, click on the Monster or S2R/S4R, whichever applies.

If you want to route both lines along the left side, the Hypermotard lines are a direct fit.

I can't wait until Marquez gets on his level and makes Jorge trip on his tampon string.

I can make the lines and I have the adapters in stock for the AN conversion, I just need to know the exact length of the lines.
