Anyone using Dreamweaver?

I am looking for a new web software program and am looking into my options.

If you are using something else you think is good I would loe to hear about it.

Thanks

J

It's all in the grind, Sizemore. Can't be too fine, can't be too coarse. This, my friend, is a science. I mean you're looking at the guy that believed all the commercials. You know, about the "be all you can be." I made coffee through Desert Storm. I made coffee through Panama while everyone else got to fight, got to be a Ranger.

I find it disturbing that you're imagining me in a sauna, never mind the teletubbie aspect of it

Hmm if you're just learning, Dreamweaver might be a good option, since it's got a lot of WYSWG capability and a lot of tools to help one along. I use it at work, though I mostly hand code my stuff, then use the automated checks, validation etc for the polish.

I tried Coda and did like it - they offer a free trial, so you don't loose anything by trying

I use DW and CS4 very often as part of my work. I'm in the process now of building a new website for our office and can't imagine using anything else.  [thumbsup] [thumbsup]

I am not entirely new to web site stuff.

Just wondering how hard the learning curve is going to be with the new dream weaver

i use dreamweaver to update a few sites i um, maintain, once you have a design clunked out its actually really easy to update a site... lol. i've never actually tried to build a site from scratch with it.

favourite part is the auto ftp uploading, but it also has a good wysiwyg and code split-screen which i find useful

Gentlemen, you can't fight in here, this is the War Room.
