OK so I replaced my flaccid factory slave unit w/a 30mm Bore EVR..very nice

over the course of a weekend or more accurately after about 6 man-hours I finally get the farking pump working with good pressure

Going out every other day and getting the last of the coagulated bubbles out...all is well.... good solid lift...no more slamming into gear from neutral

So continuing right along today I install a new clutch pack, new EVR pressure plate with STM pin..new springs caps etc...bolt everything down nice and tight

I go to the lever to check the lift....No clutch pressure at all at the lever...gone, zip, nada

the shaft did come out with the old pressure plate and I pushed it back in once I got it out of the old pressure plate pin

Where did my hard-earned pressure go?..did the slave piston extend too far outward and suck in air?? (it was still bolted to the motor)

I am dreading the bleed process twice in one season

any thoughts on cause?
Thanks

battlecry

You can disassemble the slave and assemble it inside a tupperware container filled with fluid.  Never needed to, but it is an option for really hard cases.

yes the complete submersion method...desperate measures

well I opened the upper banjo at the master end and got pressure back

now its back down to the bleeder on the slave and my theme song.......Tiny Bubbles...in the line

Tiny bubbles!
