I have to admit that from the point of pure aesthetics, what makes a motorcycle look good to me, a Harley Sportster looks good.

I wanted one badly back in the mid 60's, but , then a friend got a 750 Atlas Norton that would leave anything on wheels, two or four, for make the beast with two backsing dead.

It even obliterated another friends 650 Triumph Bonnie.

The moto world change for me after that.  It would be 25 years later that I finally got my Norton.

But then another friend showed up on his brand new yellow Ducati 750 Sport and shortly after another with his  new green frame 750 SS.  And things really have never been the since.   [moto]

When the bike leans over on the stand it leans over to the left side and masks the SSSA. America drives on the right side of the road, the wheel is open on the left, the casual observer may not get the full effect especially for something that is one off custom.

The transmission is on the right side on the Sportster engine.

Looks like they adapted the Yamaha or Christini system, you can see the thick cables running down the inside of the forks.

How about concentrating on finishing the current build?

Yeah, yeah. My machinist (my brother) is working too many hours, can't seem to get my last bits and pieces out of him.

But one can always plan the next project.
