Hi, anyone know what the allen key screw does at the bottem of the shock ?
 It's not in the hand book and doesn't seem to do any thing.

OEM shock?  If so, you are turning it for what reason?  There are two adjustments; preload (with the collars) and compression (the little knob on top).  You should not be touching anything else unless overhauling the shock.

Well it appeared to be unscrewed, so i tightened it up thinking it may make the bike feel different but did not.
  So i was wondering what it was for.

I think what you are talking about is the oil fill screw.  Keep it snugged but careful you don't strip it; remember the shock body is aluminum.
