$115 ticket + $185 tow fee + fare to West Side Impound + my t shirt in the car +my dignity in walking around with tight sleeveless under armor shirt. ( interior demo with NO AC and NO FAN )
Inside the lot, there were 20 motorcycles too.

No parking from 4pm-7pm.
Ticket was issued at 4:09pm at least the tow truck is faster than a 911 call regarding a person trying to commit suicide (no joke, took 20 minutes for them to respond to that one, i called it in, no i wasnt trying to kill myself)

The only thing fast in NYC is Fire Trucks, and sometime paramedics, but its a 50/50 shot with the ambulance, sometimes those dumbasses have NO clue where they are going and end up in a gridlock.

So which one of you has a ticket that can top a NYC parking +tow ticket?

I write 'em...

A handicapped guy called one day last year and reported a car in the handicapped space near his house with no placard. I showed up and wrote him a cite: $350 ish. The next day I got called to the same spot. Same car. He got cite #2. $700 in two days.

There was an atty at the law firm my gf used to work at that did that everyday.  He was annoyed that he didn't have a reserved spot so he would just park in the handicapped space in the front.  People she knew said he got tickets at least 3 or 4 times.  I thought that that many would have gotten some jail time or community service but I don't think either happened to this guy.

DAMN $350. Though i will agree, you dont park in a handicap spot, thats just not cool. But in reality, theres a lot of people who have the handicap permits, who really arent handicaped at all. bummer.
My worst ticket was parking my bike in a commeircal only zone to go tot the store and get water. $115.

Don't assume the person isn't hadicapped because that person appears to have four limbs and is not using an aid for walking.  Every year my wife has to resubmit proof of her permanent handicap to get the permit.

can't top that one... but in Toronto motorcycles and scooters park on city streets for free... during posted times of course. I have seen way too many bikes parked on the wrong side of the line/post/sign that get a ticket in a heartbeat... sidewalk parking seems to be pretty acceptable also, haven't got a ticket yet!

i did have my car towed about 500 yards and it cost me about $200 with fine and 'storage' didn't use dollies to tow it, i could still smell the brakes

Gentlemen, you can't fight in here, this is the War Room.

There is nothing noble in being superior to some other man.  The true nobility is in being superior to your previous self. And in bacon.
