Voltage regulator

I've a s4 916 monster and I need a regulator my question is are there other ducatis with the same regulator eg 748 996 s4r & s any info would be much appreciated thanks in advance.

AFAIK, all Monsters '98 and later, non-696/796/1100 will have the same 3-phase voltage regulator: 54040101A

There are better VR's available, there is one by Shindengen, don't know the number but a search should find it.
