I bought an 1100 back in January and within a week decided to start the endless modification process.  One of the first things I did was order the CF Termi slip-ons.  I never really liked the look of the stock pipes and heard that the DP ECU helped smooth out the power at low RPM (I have also done the 14T front sprocket mod)  Well it has been a couple of months and the Termis are still on back order.  I keep getting target ship dates that are a couple of weeks away, but when the time comes, they are somehow always moved back.  I was just told the new target ship date of June.  Is anyone else finding it ridiculous to get a hold of the Termis?  Does anyone know of a shop that hes them in stock?  I am starting to think of a different option for replacing the pipes.  Unfortunately, I really like the idea of the DP ECU.

Oh man this is bad news!  I've got an 1100S sitting at the dealer waiting on Termis... if this is the case I'll be waiting for most of the season for the parts to get in .... ugh!!!!

Remember Italians take something like the entire month of August off so it will get worse if you don't get it say by July. Rhodan Box from Ryanracer would be the way I'd go anyway if I had an M1100. Maybe a set of Boomtubes. Termis for the new Monsters just don't look very cool to me. The cost of the Termi kit (even though I myself have one for my bike) is an outright insult, besides looking gay as hell. Only reason for the kit would be the DP ECU, and sooner or later somebody will come up with a better solution in the aftermarket. It's too bad that a Ducati's proper performance has to be held hostage until you pay the Termignoni ransom. It's a racket I tell you!

I have been toying with the idea of the Boom Tubes.  I really like the look, but I also want the DP ECU.  Unfortunately, the under seat options just don't do it for me.  I sent an email to Moderation's with a few questions.  Does anyone have photos of an M1100 with the Boom Tubes?  I searched and did not find any except for the sneak peak posted by Moderation's.  I am also curious about the talk of a new Boom Tube that is supposed to be coming out, the MonoBoom.  Has anyone heard anything about this?

I get my work done through Ferracci at Fast by Ferracci and he told me that he visited the termignoni "factory" and it is actually a workshop attached to a house where TWO guys make ALL the exhausts. They do also take huge vacations.

When Plan B comes to fruition in a couple of weeks......  I may well have a set of slightly used, but well cared for M1100 CF Termi slip-ons complete with DP ECU for sale  Evil Grin

Anybody who'd care to make me an offer is welcome to PM me.

MonoBoom, I hope your man enough. Smiley

Wish you had a 696, I'd jump on a DP ecu for that.

IMO Termi needs to clean up their act.  I thought I saw you can buy a virgin ECU or re-flashed ECU to solve the issue.

You can buy a virgin DP ECU but they are crazy overpriced. Not too bad for the S*R bikes ~500 but for the 696/1100 about 1000-1200. considering the Termi kit is 1300.00 for CF it's stupid to buy them separately. Unfortunately for anyone who has a 696/1100 and like me hates the look of Termi's but wants the DP ECU perf. gains you either fork over $1000+ or play the waiting game for someone to release a PC or something else.. Who knows how many years it could take.

I don't want to jinx this for myself, but I just heard from my dealer that my Termi system is in.  As far as I know this is a harder one to find because it needs a special ECU for the 1100 w/ ABS.  But that's the word and wanted to share, could mean they're getting some shipped out to everyone now.

That would be a small miracle, but it is too late for me.  After getting all frustrated with the 5 month wait, I started looking at other options and decide I liked the Boom Tubes better.  I think I will wait to see what the new version for Mark will look like, but if they are like the current Boom Tubes, I am going to go that route instead.  Just need to call up and cancel my Termis order.  Or I could take delivery and sell them myself.

We just got a shipment of 5 more sets in last week. As of Thursday there was 1 more available. I'm not at the shop today, but Aldrin is - feel free to give him a call and see if they are still avalialble or if it has sold out. 502-568-2666. We also had some full systems as of Thursday.
