Hey MIA,

I just moved back home after living in Hawaii for the past 10 years.  I have been riding Harleys all of my life and just sold them all and bought a '07 S2 1000.  Very happy with it.  Why the change?  I was the only mechanic on my island in Hawaii that would service Ducatis and after riding and working on them for a while I decided to try one.

I would love to meet some other Duck riders in the area- I live in Virginia Highlands.  Also, I am looking for work right now, so anybody who needs a service or anything on their bike just let me know.  I charge about half of what most shops do.  My lift and tools should be here Jan. 27th.

Hit me back,
Matt

try ducati meetup.  I rode with the group that meets up in Alpharetta before I moved here to Japan.  Very responsible, mature, aggressive  riders(in a good way).  Enjoy bikes, good food and a good time.  Would ride with again in a heatbeat.  MSP Cycles used to do all my work ..Michael is good people.  Not sure if theya re hiring, but they could point you in the right direction.  They race quite a bit and never had a prob.

Welcome,

I live in the Virginia Highlands area as well.  Also new to Ducati with an '07 Sport Classic I picked up this past summer.
I recommend the Wild Ducs MC http://www.wildducs.org/.  Great group.  I second MSP as a first class shop.

If you're still doing freelance wrenching, I've got a few things I'd like to have done.  I'll PM you later.

Thanks for the info, guys!  I am meeting up with some folks from a forum that my sister subscribes to called Bloke's sport bikes tomorrow night at the pizza joint in little 5.
