Life is good!  Justin had the tube removed and has been breathing on his own.  He has been moved out of ICU and into the Step-Down Unit.  He's talking a little and is shaking off all of the meds.  Things are really looking great!

Positive progress continues.  They may move him over to the rehab unit on Monday.  Since he hasn't moved in 3 weeks he has to recondition his muscles.  The big battle appears to be over!

Sorry it's been a while, but life has been hectic!

Justin is now resting at home!  He still has some work to do but it appears he's in the home stretch.  The doctors expect a near 100% recovery, but won't know for sure until he can be more active.

I don't think he would mind me saying that his weight added to his difficulty during this.  He carries about an extra 40 lbs, and is now committed to working it off.  It's a good reminder to stay in shape!

Thanks again to everyone for the well-wishes and prayers!
