Because a Hyper probably doesn't like doing the stunts like an SXV (i.e. real motard) does.

stock SXV is 280lbs wet

Hyper is 395 dry

SXV's make jumping onto flatbeds easier

you know that sucks. can't believe they did that. why not just mod the shit out of a hyper. or why not just use the Aprilia as an Aprilia. I know, marketing, sponsors, directors.. blah blah.. but now that I've seen what they are doing... much less interested in seeing the movie.

Really? It's pretty standard practice to mod stunt vehicles so they can do one thing and still look like something else.

The problem with the Duc is the location of the sump and the header.. The huge jump is NOT CGI, and casing a landing two up at 65mph is a no go.
