I am looking to replace most of the hardware on my bike. It is very much apart at the moment and I was wondering if anyone could give me the general sizes for the nuts and bolts and studs on the bike. I'm looking to get stainless replacements for pretty much everything.

I figure its mostly M5 and M6 stuff. any ideas on length?

any and all help is appreciated.

monsterparts.com aka JEFF H on the forums sells a bolt kit. its 308 stainless and repalces all the bolts on your engine and a few other tid bits. Easier then buying hte bolts individually. Highly recommended.

I did look at Jeff's site before asking. It is a great resource.

One of my bigger concerns would be the intake and exhaust stud and no Kit I have found replaces them. I also don't see a size in the Haynes manual.

i think about three exhaust studs on mine actually screw out (the nuts just stay fixed in place) when i attempt to unscrew the bolt...  no bueno.

Same here.  I just leave 'em.

exhaust and intake studs are 8x1.25

don't know the length.

Not a real good idea to replace the exhaust studs with stainless.  Stainless is a little bit more Gummy, (Technical term) with the heat and in an aluminum head they will likely seize up and never come out.

Good note!

I ended up getting the engine bolt kit from Jeff and found some zinc coated exhaust nuts online. Thinking I can get her back together next week!
