Nope.  That sucks, because there is obviously a difference.  Oh well, I guess I will tear my bike down just to install the battery lead and go the $40 battery tender like I have on the chopper.  I works great, I just didn't want to do Monster surgery to get to the battery!

why are you making it out to be such a big deal. it's pretty simple to do. a 20 min job and you can put your own pig tails for future battery charging.

You are right, I will do it my self.  I can get any charger (Optimate 4, Battery Tender, etc) and do it right my self.  And i won't have to have the seat off to maintain the charge.
