don't matter that it has only 6k miles. That fuel pump membrane is OLD.

Mikuni rebuild kit is cheap and the fix is easy. +1 on avoiding the Winderosa kit.

Hi Crash  Where ya been?

Aw man... I been busy. Lots of flying all around the world. Commuting on the bike, but very little play.

I've also strayed; bought an '02 Sprint ST for more convenience commuting. Never liked it.

Sad thing is I'm back on the board because I'm selling my Monster and all the go fast (or look fast) parts. I'm getting rid of two older bikes that take time that I don't have to keep roadworthy and getting a single new bike with warranty.

But man I LOVE this board! I've been over on the BMW Superbikes board learning about K1300S quirks. That board has NOTHING on this one; not the traffic, not the personality, not the character. I may have to hang out here some even when I don't have a Monster anymore

Well, as long as there are still carby Monsters on the road, I will actually have something to contribute. In addition to my wit and seasoned (read: old) life insights of course 

Spent a couple hours with Eric at Clubhouse Motorsports today. Mostly confirming what I'd already been through on the bike but, as always, learning a couple more things along the way...
