How does one sync FCR carbs?

I've gone one the Ducatisuite website to see how one syncs the stock CV carbs which has helped.  Just a couple of questions.  You will see by my poorly worded questions that I might get in trouble with this process.

Hoses are attached from the cylinder intakes to the mercury gauge (or whatever method one chooses) and we attach them where the emissions hoses where attached?

Where is the screw on the carb that one would turn to make adjustments?

Thanks for your help in advance.

That is an excellent guide for FCR carb tuning.

Are you going to use a manometer/mercury gauge or the 'drill bit under the slide' method? To use a manometer you will need a set up that lets you get to the tops of the carbs with the engine running because the adjustment screws are under them.

If you are determined to use a manometer and your battery box/air box/pods set up lets you access the top carb covers, you can run the battery remotely via cables and run the engine. If you have a tiny battery/battery box you may get away with enough access. You can see how the drill bit method may become attractive.

I seperated my battery box from the air box so I could remove the battery and battery box, run it via cables, and synch the thing with the engine running with a Motion Pro gauge. It leaves the air box and filter undisturbed. Pods would be easier again.

Good luck and let us know how you go.

I did get a chance to read the article and I will definately be doing the drill bit method.  What size drill bit are we talking about here?  I wish it would have stated some range.  Thanks for your help guys.
