Boulder Motorsports

So I have been wanting to squeeze a little more power out of my 749D for a while and decided to pull the trigger on a 924 BB kit. I pulled the engine and brought up to Boulder Motor Sports. They did their thing and I picked it up today.
With some recent baby mama drama and a larger than expected lawyer bill I decided to put off aftermarket exhaust. The bike dyno'd at 116 hp and rides 200% better then before. No flat spots, hesitation, and no lag in the lower RPM's. It was amazing. This winter I will get the exhaust squared away and then have them re-map it.
If anyone needs any work done I would HIGHLY recommend BMS. They are all the nicest guys and are the shit when it comes to these machines. I for one will never take my now 924 Dark anywhere else.

Can I assume they do regular service work, outside of performance upgrades? It would be nice to find someone in the northwest area that is reliable. Seems you are very happy with them.

Yes, they do regular service work as well.
I've been quite pleased with their work for the last few years on a number of my bikes (996SPS and 999S). They are a little pricier than other places, but IMO, well worth it.

That is debatable.
Their labor rates are lower than most other shops. Sometimes they might do more work than what is ordered. ie, take it in for new tires, they notice you need pads, they do them.
Not much discount on parts, especially special order stuff.
But yes, they do a great job, and you get what you pay for.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I was hoping to have somewhere else to go outside of Erico, although I have heard good things about them as well. Will use them for warranty work on the remainder of my warranty, but after that, I like to support independent shops, etc.

Well it's a Ducati shop so your warranty might be covered up there.
Anyways they are great. I can't possibly convey how happy I am with the work they did. And yes I will be bringing my 749/924 Dark up there for PM as well. As far as the price goes I can't stand going into Erico so I have never priced their work. BMS gets my business as long as they are here.

Sorry if my comments on their pricing may have gotten misconstrued.
They get my service business (except for an occassional tire or two).

Brian can do Ducati Service work, and it'll be recognized by Ducati should warranty come into play.

I used to deal with Brian when he worked here in the Dallas area. All I have to say is that I am jealous that you guys have him in Boulder now and that he is no longer in this area. He was always great to deal with and was always fair. He has a great knowledge of Ducatis and is always will to take the time to help you out or teach you a thing or two.
If I was in the Boulder area and still had Ducs, there would be no one else that would touch any of my bikes.
Next time you guys are in the shop, tell him "Swanny says hello!"

I just got my Termi's for the 1100 and I called them for a price to install, for the warranty (mainly the ECU), and the dude I spoke to said that if he did it that Ducati would not honor the warranty.
One of us got some bad info, and I hope it was me, because I'd like to use them from all of the good feedback I have heard. I was gonna have Fay Myers do it....
