Bitubo Steering Damper Part needed

Well, my smart ass took apart my damper to lift my gas tank. In the process of doing so, i lost a piece.

If anyone has an S2R1000 Bitubo Steering Damper, could you please measure a part for me?


It is the spacer/guide that goes below the damper mounting hole. It fills in the gap between the steering bracket and serves to guide the M6x25 red bolt into the bracket.

I just opened one up and checked for you, it measures exactly 3/8 inches

Unfortunately I really can't break up an entire kit for that one little part, but all you need to do is go to your local hardware store and buy a 50 cent 3/8'' spacer.

Honestly you wouldn't want to pay me the $5 in shipping even if I had it when it is such a readily available item.
