fun road to ride close to Seattle?

I came up from Los Angeles on my 696 since Ive picked up a remote job and I'll be here for a few weeks. I want to go explore some and do some riding through some mountain passes. What's a good half day jaunt through the mountains?

half day...
you might be able to get down to the 504 and cruise up to Johnston Ridge and back in half a day
that is a fun ride
