I'm riding thru NH next weekend, looking for routes from Near StJ VT to Boxford MA.

I could slab almost door to door in I89.
But.

Last year, Hit NH rt 135, 18 and liked it.
Did 302, nice, stuck in Conway, sucked, and slogged down 16, 125, sucked more the farther I went.

Returned on 107, got turned around in Laconia and ended up on the slab thru Franconia.
107 wasn't bad, kinda like to wind the Monster out at times, ya know?

Probably down do the Kanc, and avoid Conway.

All I want is a twisy two lane road diagonally NW to SE, oh and nobody on it, please?

I'm planning my return that way Sunday but I'll be fairly incommunicado.
I'll try to check here Fri or Sat PM.

I'll forgo the Kanc this time of year.

South bound Fri I cross into NH 25A, 118, 93 thru Franconia, ....140, 106 ...107S to 125 (yuck) etc

Northbound Sunday ... huh  ... the reverse of Southbound - i guess I am going thru Laconia both ways on 106 (I got off the track there there last time) - look for a black 620 with a tank & tailbag, I'm dressed in black.
Would love some company.

Hit Winona Rd not too far from 106.

That will take you over towards 25A if you want.

You could stop if you like.

DP thanks - I couldn't find Winona Rd coming from Ashland (I hadn't got a detailed look at the map -
couldn't get it one on my phone at the scene of the crime).
take it on the return leg out of Laconia to Ashland (Pease Rd before it crosses 104) - nice and curvey!
FWIW 302E from Barre VT, 25S, 5S, 25A E into NH .... great section.

132 looks promising but the few sections I traveled were rough - I like a road close to / parallel to an interstate - no traffic.

DP Appreciate the offer to stop by - next time thru I'll find out where you're located.

jccyberdemon - ym southbound route missed Laconia (as I couldn't locate Winona Rd).
Hope you got out to ride anyway - what a weekend for moto travel.
